Master Jason B. Horne is the founder of XS Martial Arts Dojo and Save One Now (S.O.N), a non-profit dedicated to supporting youth empowerment and anti-crime efforts in communities throughout New Orleans.
A retired veteran of the United States Air Force and Louisiana National Guard, Jason is an accomplished martial arts instructor with more than 26 years of experience and currently holds a sixth degree black belt in karate and a fifth degree black belt in kickboxing. He was inducted into the Martial Arts World Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Masters Hall of Fame in 2010 for his humanitarian work.
As a community advocate, Jason has dedicated his career to keeping kids off the streets and instilling the principles of self-discipline, confidence and perseverance. Jason’s hands on approach has impacted the lives of more than 1,000 young students, proving that “leadership is an action not a position.”
In addition to his martial arts program, Jason is a respected motivational speaker and coach, helping to guide professionals and entrepreneurs to a balanced and fulfilled personal life. He is a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses initiative, and a member of the the Aspen Institute Leadership Action Forum. He has served as an Ambassador at the White House Roundtable for Economic Development as well as the White House Council on Small Business, and has been a speaker and professional trainer for both Folgers and J. M. Smuckers.
