AT THE HELM
Leah Nunn Engelhardt is the managing partner in the New Orleans office of Preis, PLC, where she represents clients in commercial litigation and trial advocacy nationally and internationally.
Leah has balanced her successful legal career with her passion for community leadership. She has served in multiple roles on the Junior League of Greater New Orleans (JLNO) including, President, President-Elect, Chair of the Teen Court of Greater New Orleans and Teen Court Judge. She is credited with establishing the JLNO “Get on Board” non-profit training program. Leah served on the Board of Directors for the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans, is active on the Board of Directors of the Literacy Alliance and the Bureau of Governmental Research, and is the incoming Chair of Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans. Leah is also a graduate of the prestigious New Orleans Leadership Institute.
Leah is involved in numerous professional organizations including the American, Georgia, Louisiana and New Orleans Bar Associations, as well as the Bar Associations for the Fourth, Fifth and Eighth Federal Circuits. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Loss Executives Association.
