Terrance Osborne

Terrance Osborne is an internationally-acclaimed and collected visual artist based in New Orleans, LA.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Xavier University of Louisiana, Osborne entered the world of education. Osborne taught Fine Arts in the New Orleans public school system for five years before evacuating to Georgia in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. There, he began painting full time. Two years later, Osborne returned to New Orleans to pursue his now thriving career in art. Over the years, he has received numerous awards and commissions for his vibrantly haunting depictions of post-Katrina New Orleans. The colorful and mesmerizing houses and streetscapes in Osborne’s works are reflective of the very spirit and character of the city.

In 2014, Osborne was voted the city’s Best Artist in Gambit Weekly’s “Best Of” edition. Among others, he has been commissioned by the Coca-Cola Company (Barq’s Root Beer), Nike, Reilly Foods, Coupe de’Foundry, Heineken, The Hilton, Harrah’s Casino and has created four internationally recognized posters for the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and three posters for the Krewe of Zulu.  He resides in Louisiana with his wife and business partner, Stephanie, and their three children, Terrance, Seth and Sydni.
