About YLC Wednesday at the Square
YLC Wednesday at the Square is a free, 10-concert music series in the heart of New Orleans’ Central Business District. Proceeds from food and drink sales benefit the Young Leadership Council’s community service projects, designed not only to improve the quality of life in the Greater New Orleans area but also to foster leadership skills in young professionals.
Location and Parking
YLC Wednesday at the Square takes place at Lafayette Square in downtown New Orleans, which is located off St. Charles Avenue across from Gallier Hall. For more specific directions, see the map below.
Parking is available at metered spots around the downtown area. There are also a number of downtown office buildings that have open parking garages for a fee. In addition, public transportation is encouraged – be sure to plan ahead. Recommended parking with Lanier Parking at the Poydras Center Parking Garage (Navigate to 511 Camp Street).
Bike to the Square
Park your bike at the Bike Valet at the Square, sponsored by Blue Bikes. Blue Bikes is a fast, convenient and affordable transportation system for residents and visitors to move around New Orleans. Traffic and parking problems are a thing of the past when you’re rolling to the next Wednesday at the Square. Download the Social Bicycles app or visit bluebikesnola.com to start riding!
Please make sure your bicycle is secured to an appropriate structure. If a bicycle is locked to a barricade it will be removed at the end of the concert.

Official Wednesday at the Square Tee
Official Wednesday at the Square t-shirts are now available online at Bywater Clothing! All proceeds will support the Young Leadership Council’s community service projects.
Attention: Pet Owners
For the protection of our YLC Wednesday at the Square patrons, all pets must be kept on a leash with a maximum length of 6 feet at all times. Animals exhibiting aggressive behavior are not permitted. Owners are asked to immediately remove an animal that exhibits aggressive behavior. By entering the concert area, owners agree to be solely liable for the actions of their pets. If we find your pet to be a risk to other patrons, you will be asked to leave.
YLC Wednesday at the Square Volunteers receive a YLC Volunteer t-shirt, food tickets, and a wristband for three beverages while volunteering at Lafayette Square.
