Dr. Lindsey B. Jakiel Diulus

Executive Director

Lindsey brings fifteen years of public sector experience to her role as executive director.

Lindsey Jakiel Diulus has over fifteen years of professional experience working in the public sector and has served in a variety of roles at colleges/universities and nonprofit organizations. Since 2015 she has been in external affairs and fundraising positions and earned her Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2019. Lindsey serves on the board of directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater New Orleans chapter and AFP International’s Research Council. She served on YLC’s board of directors from 2014 – 2017 and in the position of Vice President of Projects in 2014. 

Lindsey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and Canadian Studies from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from the University at Buffalo, and a doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of New Orleans.

Career highlights include: securing over $1.5M in funds through competitive grants for both large and small nonprofits, including two Transom Grants from Baptist Community Ministries (BCM); creating and executing annual fund strategies such as monthly giving programs; developing and delivering content for leadership courses and co-curricular experiences at the University at Buffalo and the University of New Orleans, and integrating strengths-based coaching into student development initiatives. 

As Executive Director of YLC, Lindsey will build upon the history and accomplishments of the organization, its members, and alumni. She is excited to support other young professionals who want to leave their mark on New Orleans.
