NEW ORLEANS – October 9, 2019: Young Leadership Council (YLC) has announced the concert dates for its 2020 YLC Wednesday at the Square concert season. The 2020 YLC Wednesday at the Square season is scheduled to run each Wednesday for 10 weeks, March 11 – May 13. Rain dates for the series are scheduled for May 20, May 27 and June 3. The concerts will take place at Lafayette Square in downtown New Orleans from 5 – 8 pm. Next season’s band lineup will be announced in the coming months.
YLC is thrilled for its third-year partnership with AOS Interior Environments as the concert series’ 2020 Title Sponsor of YLC Wednesday at the Square. AOS is the largest design-assist provider of commercial furnishings, manufactured interior construction, storage solutions and installation and service in Louisiana and Mississippi, and has been serving the region for more than 43 years.
“Our team is delighted to announce our third-year as the Title Sponsor of YLC Wednesday at The Square! It is an honor to partner—and groove with—such an enthusiastic and inspiring young professional community,” said Shelby Russ, President and CEO of AOS Interior Environments. “By committing to organizations like YLC, we have the chance to make a profound impact on this remarkable place we get to call home. We hope everyone can join us in this mission by rocking out all season long!”
The YLC Wednesday at the Square concert series is free and open to the public. Proceeds from food and beverage sales at each concert benefit YLC’s mission to build young professional leaders through community service. YLC’s volunteer-led projects are focused on four pillars; sustainability, youth development, arts and culture, and leadership development programming – which are all designed to improve the quality of life in the Greater New Orleans region.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I’d like to thank AOS for continuing to support YLC Wednesday at the Square. We are thrilled to have AOS return as our title sponsor for the 2020 YLC Wednesday at the Square concert series,” said Aimee McCarron, YLC Board President. “Their continued support these past three years has been monumental in helping YLC sustain its mission. YLC Wednesday at the Square is a tangible example of the leadership opportunities created and maintained by our volunteer members. Shelby and AOS’s generosity continues to impact a new wave of young leaders in New Orleans, and provide them will the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to lead our city in the future.”
