Leadership Development Series

Leadership Development Series

Since 1986, YLC has sculpted leadership through proactive volunteer work. In 2003, we introduced the Leadership Development Series (LDS), presented by Laitram, as our flagship leadership training initiative. LDS offers a dynamic blend of engagement with New Orleans' top professionals, insights into personalized leadership strengths and team building, and invaluable networking with peers.

Project Leaders

Evolving Leaders Since 2003

The 10-week program, sponsored by Laitram, starts in the Fall, engaging young professionals in a multi-faceted leadership curriculum. Each LDS class is unique and provides a chance for young professionals to network with peers and local experts throughout the city, providing resources for further development of leadership, and communication skills. Applications open in July for the 10-week immersive series. Those accepted into the 2024 class will dive into engaging topics like civic engagement, non-profit management, team dynamics, and leadership.
