Louisiana Children's Museum
(15 Henry Thomas Dr., New Orleans, LA)
We will kick off this Role Model Program event with some lite bites and networking before Dr. Blady guides guests through the exhibits and activations to provide detailed explanations of the research and reasoning behind each space.
The Louisiana Children's Museum has served the greater New Orleans community and beyond for thirty-eight years. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to childhood education, the museum’s exhibits and programs provide children, and their caregivers, with the tools they need to see and achieve their capacity as young citizens of the world.
Over the past 10 years, Dr. Blady has demonstrated a strong commitment to issues of access and equity. As a proud sixth-generation New Orleanian and former New Orleans Public Schools student, teacher, and parent, Dr. Blady is committed to ensuring that all children in New Orleans receive a high-quality, well-rounded education infused with joy.
