Connecting Today's Professionals with Tomorrow's Leaders
Held biannually in Spring and Fall, Power Ties collaborates with distinct schools each semester. Our enthusiastic volunteers enter the academic environment, enlightening students on crafting compelling resumes, mastering the art of interviews, and navigating job applications. The program hosts a dynamic Career Day, where students experience real-world job interviews, culminating in an inspiring 'power lunch' full of motivational insights and engaging conversations.

Classroom Sessions: Guide students with a mapped-out curriculum and share your own professional journey from where you started to where you are today.
Resume Crafting Workshop: Collaborate with fellow volunteers after work, helping students refine and construct stellar resumes
Career Day & Power Lunch: Interview students, mentor on business etiquette, and oversee business thank-you note creation. We provide all scripts and content, ensuring a seamless experience.
Job Site Visits: Showcase your workplace! This is a golden chance for your business to host budding aspirants looking to connect with organizations in different industries. While we offer guiding structure, we encourage hosts to offer students a genuine peek into the business world.
Virtual Call-In: Can’t make it in person? This year, PowerTies will offer an opportunity for you to connect with the students in a virtual way.
