Introducing the 2022 Leadership Development Series Class

October 4, 2022 — Young Leadership Council’s flagship Leadership Development Series (LDS) began on Tuesday, September 13th with a class of 24 of New Orleans’ up-and-coming young leaders from across industries. LDS is a 10-week series that engages young leaders in developing leadership, networking, communication, and development skills. The series will provide a hands-on approach, allowing participants the unique opportunity to work in small groups to create and implement ideas and plans to help YLC and its members address a variety of needs of the greater New Orleans community.

The series will welcome several leaders who serve in a variety of sectors in New Orleans. Some notable speakers this year include: Dr. Jennifer Avegno (New Orleans Health Department), Josie Delaune (Smoothstack), Michael Hecht (GNO Inc.), John Landrum (Intralox), Sonny Lee (Son of a Saint), Tom Moran (Good Shepherd School), Wes Palmisano (Impetus), Jimmy Roussel (New Orleans Startup Fund), and Alexandra Schneider (St. Bernard Parish School District).
